Sports Massage
A sports massage treatment is individualized for every athlete and the demands of the sport participated in. Sports Massage maintains muscle in the best state of nutrition, flexability, and vitality to facilitate optimum function. Sports Massage treatments can often be done fully clothed and are usually more invigorating than sedating. Sports Massage can be divided into four catagories with each having a different purpose or goals:
1) Pre-Event
2) Post-Event
3) Preventive or Training
4) Treatment or Rehabilitation
Like with all massage treatments, in order to receive the full benefits of a Sports Massage, it is best to keep a regular schedule with your practitioner.
